To edit the general settings of the experiment:

  1. In the operating software, go to the experiment's name tab (the name you chose for your experiment, under the Experiments tab).
  2. Fill in the zero hour: The time at which the software will check whether it needs to move to the next step in the treatment scenario.
  3. Fill in daily transpiration values: Daily transpiration is calculated as the difference between two weight windows during the day, for all days. The daily transpiration start time (RDT start - Time) is the time at which the software will begin to measure the average weight for the selected duration (RDT start - Duration). For the end time of daily transpiration (RDT end - Time), the same argument applies.
  4. Fill in the Daily Weight values (Daily Weight Start and Daily Weight Duration). The daily weight time is the reference time for calculating the plant weight.

Important - the zero hour affects the transition between irrigation steps during the experiment. Be cautious about it and don't forget to edit it before starting the experiment. The rest of the settings could be changed at any time and will only affect the calculations of the different parameters (in retrospect too).
