- Each controller has four ports to connect digital sensors. Once a sensor is connected to any of the ports (A, B, C, D), the controller automatically sets the sensor's ID (a number between 0 and 3, respectively).
- The physical port addresses are marked on the PCB's panel itself next to each port and are corresponding to the ID numbers that the sensors will be assigned (A-0, B-1, C-2, D-3).
- For consistency, and to properly display and analyze the sensor data together, connect all same types of sensors to the same port. Otherwise, the sensors will get different ID numbers and cannot be displayed together in SPAC Analytics.
- For example, connect TEROS 12 sensors always to port A and ATMOS 14 sensors always to port B.
