The "Positions" and "Plants" tables in "Plantarray Client" can be exported as Excel files, edited, and imported back into the application.

Importing a table to "Plantarray Client" could fail for several reasons:

  1. A value that must be unique appears more than once in the table (in columns: PotID / Alias / Address / PlantName / PlantID).
  2. A cell that must contain a numeric value does not meet its criterion:
    "Positions" table columns:
    PositionX / PositionY / CalibrationSlope / CalibrationIntercept
    "Plants" table columns:
     TareWeight / SeedlingBulkSoilWeight / SoilDryWeight / SoilWetWeight / ReserveWaterInventory / SoilType / SoilVolume / PlantNetWeight.
  3. The table sheet contains values in cells outside the required range.

To prevent importing failure, make sure to follow the exported template pattern and avoid the possible errors outlined above.
