To clean a solenoid valve, follow the next steps, or watch the video below.
- Disconnect the controller from power, communication, and water.
- Use a manual or electric screwdriver to unscrew the 4 screws of the controller box as circled below:
- Inside the controller box you will find the two valves wired to the PIU card as pictured below:
- Disconnect the valve from the PIU card.
- Open the valve mechanism by turning it and pull out the magnet with the spring.
- Check if there is anything to clean:
- Close the controller box, connect it back to power, communication and water, and check if the problem is solved.
