If a controller is not active:

  1. Make sure that the power cable between the controller and the one preceding it is properly connected.
  2. Reset power for the entire system.
  3. Replace the power cable between the controller and the one preceding it.
  4. Replace the fuse on the PIU of the controller:
    1. Disconnect the controller from power, communication, and water.
    2. Use a manual or electric screwdriver to unscrew the 4 screws of the controller box circled below:
    3. Inside the controller box you will find the PIU card and the two valves as pictured below:
    4. The fuse is located on the bottom left corner of the PIU, as shown below:
    5. Use a narrow flat head screwdriver or suitable tweezers (not very sharp) to pull out the fuse from its slot:
    6. Place the new fuse in the slot and close the controller box.
